Since we started working at Chesapeake Decision Sciences in January of 1990, we have been using Aspentech's supply chain suite of modeling tools (formerly known as MIMI) to model supply chains in various industries around the world.  Using these incredibly flexible modeling tools, we have modeled everything from demand forecasting automobile tire sales to optimal planning for cheese production to optimally scheduling pharmaceutical production.  For a complete list of projects, see the project tab.

The single most important thing we have learned over these past 30+ years is that even though we have the capability to model and optimize virtually anything in your supply chain, at the end of the day the result needs to be stable and usable.  Consequently, we use an agile development method on projects to ensure our clients receive models that are hyper-focused on the aspects that make their models usable and yield the best financial results.

Lastly, even the best forecast, plans and schedules need to be communicated and collaboratively improved on a daily basis.  We have extensive experience in using Aspen Collaborative Forecaster (CF), Aspen Schedule Explorer (ASE), as well as Analytics tools (Power BI, and others) to help socialize results and build in feedback loops into all of the processes.
